OB1 Multi-Surface Construction Sealant & Adhesive – Grey 290ml

OB1 Multi-Surface Construction Sealant & Adhesive bonds all metals even lead, plastics including PVC, GRP and more including glass, mirror, polystyrene, fibreglass and wood. Even works in water!

Can be applied underwater thanks to its hybrid polymer formulation - acts as a structural underwater bond in closed-face applications in swimming pools such as floor and wall tiles without the need to drain the pool, ISEGA approved.

Maintains a strong bond from -40°C to +120°C, ideal for harsh weather and refrigerated environments.

Preparation:

1.All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other loose material.

2.All paints should be removed from surfaces where the adhesive will make contact.

3.Metal surfaces, such as stair nosings, should be degreased with detergent and water or an appropriate degreaser.

4.New concrete and plaster should be allowed to dry fully before use.

5.Porous surfaces, such as plaster and fibre cement board, should first be primed and allowed to dry thoroughly before use. Building panels should be cut to shape beforehand.

Application:

1.Fix the cartridge into the extruder. Cut the nozzle to the desired width and angle.

2.Best results are achieved by applying beads onto one surface only.

3.Apply in strips 10-20cm apart. On large panels apply in strips at 10-20cm intervals.

4.Using a twisting action, press the other surface into position to maximise surface contact & grab. Press surfaces together firmly for 30 seconds.
